Island of Cabrera
From the port of Colonia St. Jordi you can take an excursion
(www.excursioncabrera.com) to the Island of Cabrera,
which is situated 18 km off the southeast point of Mallorca. In 1991 this Archipelago was declared to National Park.
This island has to unique flora and fauna. The water around the island is important because of the rich sea life that
can be found here. If you want to go by own boat you need to permission from the ICONA.
Arenal De Ses Dones (S´Algar)
A fine sandy beach with some rocks. The water is crystal clear and calm.

Arenal de Portocolom
From this beach, which is situated near the lighthouse, you have a lovely view over the harbour of Porto Colom. The water is shallow and there is a lifeguard on the beach from July till September. This place is well protected from the wind.

Cala Marçal
The sea is calm and not too deep. This, together with the vast sandy area, makes it a perfect location for children. The beach is surrounded by low cliffs and there is a parking nearby. From July till September is here a lifeguard.

Cala Sa Nau
A sheltered and charming cove which is situated in a quiet area. Around the cove there is a lot of vegetation. The water is clean and clear and very popular for boats. From this beach you can make a fabulous walk over the rocks to Cala Mitjana.

Cala Mitjana
Small beach surrounded by beautiful vegetation. The only way to access this white sandy beach is on foot. Perfect place for snorkelling.

Cala Serena
Small beach, which is not so touristy. The water is very calm and there are a few caves in the cliffs, some of which can be entered. This area is popular for snorkelling and scuba-diving.

Cala Ferrera
This is the biggest beach in Cala d´Or, surrounded by pine trees. The water is calm, so good for a refreshing swim. There is a windsurf school located close by. From July till September is there a life guard on the beach.

Cala Esmeralda
Cristal clear water, with white sand. Some original vegetation still surrounds the beach. This beach has volleyball nets.

Cala Gran
Very popular beach near by the centre of Cala d´Or. There you will find some grass and palm trees. The sand is fine and the water clean and clear. This area is very well protected by cliffs.

This nice beach is situated less then a 5 minutes walk for the centre of Cala d´Or.
Behind the beach you will find some trees for shade, for when the sun is getting to hot.

Cala Des Pou
The beach is only small, but very popular in Cala Egos. Here the water is very calm and the beach has white, fine sand. From this beach you can see the boats passing through the bay into the port.

Cala Egos
This white sanded beach is situated close to the hotels and the centre of Cala Egos. The small bay has a nice atmosphere with a view over the sea.

Caló des Homos Morts
The translation of the name of this small beach is "the little cove of the dead man".
To get here you have to walk from the beach of Caló de sa Torre towards the Hotel Blau.

Caló de sa Torre
Small beach situated in a quiet area. From the beach you can see the watchtower, which was built in 1626 to prevent attacks by pirates being on particular note.

Sa Barca Trencada
This beach is situated next to the Iberostar hotel "Cala Barca". It has a nice playground for the children and a restaurant. At the back of the beach is a big pine grove, which provides a lovely wide shaded area.

MONDRAGO NATURAL PARK (PARQUE NATURAL DE MONDRAGO)
Caló des Borgit
Unspoilt beach, which is situated far away from mass tourism. Surrounded by pine trees and low cliffs makes this a beautiful environment. The beach has fine, white sand and the water is very clear.

Sa Font De N'Alis
This beach is the most popular one in this area. There are plenty of sun beds and there is a nice playground for the children. There is a large parking area, 5 minutes walk from the beach. It is also possible to reach the beach with the train or bus from Cala d´Or, Cala Egos or Porto Petro. Situated on the beach you will find this very nice bar/restaurant, which are open in the evenings as well. In the summer there is a lifeguard. From this beach it is a short walk to s'Amarador.

S'Amarador
The biggest beach situated in the heart of Parque Natural of Mondrago. Most of the time quieter than Sa Font De N´Alis. The water is very clear and the beach is clean. From here you can make a beautiful walk through the park.

Nice beach which has only 2 hotels in the area. There is a parking close to the beach and a bar/restaurant. In the high season you´ll find a lifeguard on the beach.

Not an easy walk to the beach, but the view is worth it! This is one of the most beautiful beaches of Mallorca. The water is very clear and calm. Perfect place for a romantic evening on the beach.

Charming small cove with some tiny buildings, which make this beach very special. The area is surrounded with pine trees and vegetation and because of the rocks this cove is sheltered from the wind.

One of the most virgin beaches of the island, situated very close to Colonia St Jordi.

Es Cotó
Also known as playa de Estanys o Marques. You can make long pleasant walks along the coast to other beaches. The whole coastline is surrounded by dunes and pine trees and the sand is fine and white.

Es Trenc
One of the most beautiful beaches this island has, and also the longest one. This Caribbean like beach is very popular. The water is christal clear, has a beautiful colour and a unspoilt sandbank. At the furthest side of the beach there is a nudist area. Only 200 m from the beach is a paid parking in the open field, just behind the dunes.

Ses Covetes
This beach, which is situated between Es Trenc and Sa Rapita, is protected by rocks on both sides. The sand is white and fine. When the conditions are right, is this a good place for windsurfing.

's Arenal de sa Rápita
Sa Rapita is very open to the sea and has a sailing club. Also here you will see a lot of windsurfers. This white sandy beach is easily accessed by wheelchair.

This quiet beach is situated near to the Yacht Club of S´Estanyol. The beach, which has golden/white sand and pebbles is surrounded by scrubland and pine trees.
